The development of the PAS 2050

PAS 2050 is an internationally applicable standard, the development of which was informed by 20 pilot projects that examined supply chains that stretched across international borders. In addition, organisations from 40 countries were involved in the consultation process.

Ongoing projects

Companies and other organisations around the world are working with CTFC on measurement, reduction and communication, and with the CTF-Certification Company on certifications of product carbon footprints. Major projects are currently underway in the US, continental Europe and China.

We are also currently exploring further projects in Asia and Australia.
